Suggest Treatment For Severe Swelling On The Tongue

On 11-30-2016, I awoke with severe tongue swelling. I was taken to a hospital emergency room. They anesthetized me, and put an airway in my throat. The doctor attributed the tongue swelling to a reaction to Lisinopril, which I've been taking daily for 18 months.

I was released from the hospital on 12-02-2016. Now, however, my feet, ankles, and thighs are very swollen.
Will this feet and leg swelling eventually go away? This swelling has never happened before this.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain severe swelling of tongue seems to be due to an Anaphylatic reaction causing Angioedema of the tongue..
As you must be treated with oral and intravenous anti allergics and steroids the symptoms were controlled..

But in case if there is swelling in feet, ankles and thighs it can be most probably due to allergic reaction, however such symptoms can also be due to fluid retention caused due to heart and kidney related disorders..

So my suggestion is to once consult a Physician and get evaluated so that if there is any doubt then investigating the same and treatment can be done accordingly..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
