Suggest Treatment For Severe Throat Pain, Chest Discomfort And Difficulty Breathing

I am suffering from dry cough . Now 23 days over. I completed antibiotic Clasid xl z5 days and T. Cetrizine 10 MG AT NIGHT 5 Days. Pulmicort nebulizer taken z2 days. But no changes. I canot sleep properly. And I am suffering severe throat pain and chest discomfort. And berating dutifully also.doctor diagnosed bronchitis. Yearly 2-3 times I am getting like this infection. What is the diagnosis and treatment.

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe throat pain, chest discomfort and difficulty breathing which is because of viral infection/ upper respiratory infection. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist once and get it examined. Doctor may order blood tests and x-ray chest. Doctor may order pulmonary function tests to detect level of infection. Get ECG done to check chest discomfort causes and monitor cardiac functions. Do warm saline gargles three times daily. Taking decongestant nasal spray can also be relieving. If you feel pain and discomfort in body or throat taking painkillers like Ibuprofen can be relieving. You should take hot milk boiled with half a teaspoon of turmeric. Drink luke warm water on daily basis.
