Suggest Treatment For Severe Throat Pain

I got a fish bone stuck in my throat 3 hours ago, and I ve done every home remedy there is. I m still in pain, but it isn t as bad as before but still pretty bad. Do you think it could still be in there or if my throat is just scratched? How long should the pain last?

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you symptoms of severe throat pain after fish bone stuck n throat which is a condition you should immediately be concerned about as piece can be accumulating microorganisms there and acting as foreign body and can cause obstruction and could pass in any wrong passage.

I would suggest you to drink plenty of water and do warm saline gargles and eat banana's. You should consult ENT surgeon specialist once i.e Otolaryngologist for this condition. Get a fiberoptic scan done and a very minor procedure is required which which will eliminate this piece struck there.
