Suggest Treatment For Severe Uterine Pain And Cramps

Currently I have been having sharp uterine pains that feel like cramps. It started at 4pm yesterday, with me also feeling faint and super sweaty. It s almost 3am and they dont seem to be going away. I ve tried Tylenol, Midol, a heat pad, chocolate, going to the restroom, eating food.. but nothing seems to be.working out. Should I go to the hospital? The pain is unbearable! I had my period on Sunday and ended on Tuesday. My periods are usually short and I dont bleed. I have no bleeding or discharge at the moment. I am also on birth control, but I take my pills regularly. Please help me.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thanks For asking HCM.

Dear patient

I understand your concerne. pain in the pelvic region could be of Two origins
1. Due to urinary problems.( infrctions, stone, stricture etc and some time without other symptoms)
2. Due to Disease of reproductive system( PID, PCOD, Ovulatry pain, or sometimes hormonal imbalance.
To rule out these causes proper age, past medical history is required. Following test would be Helpful to determine the cause

1. USG of Whole abdomen.
2. CBC
3. Thyroid Function Test.

Meanwhile you can take T. Meftal spas as and when required.
Please let me know with the reports for further guidance

Thanks.
