Hi! I hade gone through your question and understand your concern .
If I were your treating doctor first I be clear to.my patient that vestibular papilloma is not a dissease ,(not a virus not a yeast) is just a bening tumour( it's a anatomical type of vestibular mucosa.) that sometimes grows and cause burning sensation and itching and sometimes when the patient is sexually active may cause pain and discomfort if they are big .
To be sure about the diagnosis I would do some examination : Dermatoskopy to see the change in color of the pappiles or
biopsy to make sure the type of the lession.
For the itchy skin I would recommend to to put some
cold water during the day , and keep the skin clean , don't scratch it , wash it with warm water with no soup or any chemicals.
The treatment of are these choises :
- burning the papules with acid ,this should be done by your doctor and describes
podophyllin or
podofilox gel to use it several time ( 2day for 3 ways, 4 ways off .. start again .for 4 weeeks) until the pappiles dissapear . They may can be back again
-surgical excision.
Thank you for asking HCM
Wish you good health!
