Suggest Treatment For Sharp Lower Back Pain

I am a 57 year old male. I have been experiencing a sharp pain in my lower right side back for the last 2 months. It s a dull pain when I am at rest, but if I move to either pick something up or bend backwards, the pain is extreme to the point where my legs buckle. I have had this type of pain in the past, however it usually lasts for only a day or two.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having pinched nerve pressure giving rise this problem.
This can be due to degenerative changes in your lower vertebrae having osteoartheritis of lower spines.
go for x-ray lumb-sacral region.
Physiotherapy, short way diathermy and lumbar traction will be of much helpful.
Take calcium, vitamin D supplements.
Ok and take care.
I find this answer helpful
