Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In Chest And Headache
Hello. Over the past few years, Iseem to be having problems with my heart. It will feel like a panic attack, but painful instead of just pressure. I have noticed that it seems worse right now. I suddenly had an extremely sharp pain in my chest that throbbed 3 times then stopped. Followed by a head ache. Now Ihave a small migraine and my chest feels like I am having a small panic attack. What could this be and what should I do?
I would like to know your age and any history of any disease in the past. Also if this happens at a certain time related to a stressful thought / event. Also do you feel any difficulty in breathing or tiredness at other times. In case these attacks are frequent and disabling I would recommend you see a General physician to get some blood tests and ECG done to rule any serious condition. In case you want to discuss this in detail I am available for further follow up.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Preeti Jolly, Endocrinologist
