The diagnosis of atypical chest pain can be tricky and requires detailed medical history, apart from investigations. Since the medical investigations does not show any alarming results, we can look into other possible causes of chest pain like the most common one that is dyspepsia( heart burn/acid reflux), look for other supporting symptoms like indigestion, worsening of symptoms after intake of heavy meal and retching.
The other less common cause of chest pain is Tietze syndrome, this is characterized by the inflammation of upper ribs particularly in the area attached to sternum causing severe chest pain that mimics cardiac pain. The treatment involves use of anti-inflammatory medications and steroids. Since the medication requires prescription medication consult your family physician to discuss the possibility of the above mentioned causes.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
