Following are the most probable causes of your pain in the knee:
1) Fracture patella
2) Meniscal tears
3) Collateral ligaments tears
4)
Tendon inflammation like tendonitis
5) Bursitis
6) Joint effusion
You require a detailed clinical examination of knee and then investigations like X-ray and MRI. Kindly meet another orthopedic surgeon for an apt diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
Until then to reduce your pain, the following are recommended:
1) Pain relief by medications like NSAIDs
Ibuprofen and
Aceclofenac to be taken twice daily
2) Chymoral AP can be used twice daily. It contains trypsin,
chymotrypsin, aceclofenac and
paracetamol. It is to be taken twice daily.
3) To prevent gastric irritation, tab. Pantop 40 mg daily once before food is advised.
