General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your husband experience with sharp pricking pain at his arms and legs following treatment with beta blockers for irregular heart beat I am suggesting that he has developed a peripheral neuropathy

In view of this please do the test Serum thiamine to rule out this condition

Meanwhile please see a neurologist specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

I hope this helps Regards
