Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In The Ring Finger
There is pain on my left hand between my ring finger and pinky finger. It is in the middle of my hand between the two fingers. There is a very sharp pain when I try to grip something or bear my weight with my left hand. My fingers are feeling tighter and so is my hand. Even when I m not doing anything my left hand is just aching and pounding. I m just wondering what is going on?1
Here there are various possibilities ... Do x ray of left hand for it.
It might show osteoarthritis changes if present... Second possibility that if you taking low milk here possibility of vitamin D and calcium deficiency has to be ruled out. If deficiency their deficiency had to be corrected.
Sometimes it may show osteoporotic changes then it is treated with calcium and alendronate like drugs.
Lastly your pain could be by muscle strain or tendon injury in that finger.rest and analgesic taken with bandage applied if needed.
Take care.
