Suggest Treatment For Sharp Throbbing Pain In The Head

Just had a baby 2 weeks ago. I breast feed her and at least 2 or 3 times I m had extreme sharp throbbing pain in my head. One felt like an ice pick being slammed into my temple over and over for about 3 mins. This current pain has been going on since this morning. Throbbing sharp pain behind my ears and temples. Has not gone away. I also have chills.

I need to know since how long you are having this pain ? Was it only after your delivery or even before that ?

Also was your delivery a normal one or Caeserian ?

Is there any Vomiting sensation ?

Any Irritation to Bright Light or Loud Sound ?

These information will help me in knowing the cause of headache. Presently i feel you might be having a condition called Migraine Headache.

You can take Paracetamol for the pain relief but if it's very severe better go to ER and get an Injection and Consult a Neurologist.
