Suggest Treatment For Shingles

I was told by my doctor that I have shingles, but I don t have a rash. I feel pain from the center of my bac and around to my right side and underneath my right brest. this pain mostly happens at night and early morning then it goes away until late in the evening and night

Hi.
As per your case history of shingles, my treatment advice is -
1. It is a contagious disease. So maintain isolation.
2. Drink plenty of water and don't squeeze the lesions.
3. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
4. Oral antiviral like acyclovir and NSAID need to be started only after consulting a dermatologist.
