What Is The Dosage Of Acyclovir For Shingles?
Most web sites say that the treatment for shingles ( herpes zoster ) may be acyclovir 800mg. 5 times daily for 7 to 10 days. Is 800mg. 4 times daily for 5 days adequate treatment for the shingles, and if not should there be a break in the dosage of 7 to 10 days?
