Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath And Anxiety Disorder

I ve recently (past few months) had trouble running out of breath while doing simple things like telling a story or singing. I noticed when teaching young kids. It s almost like an altitude change if you go up into the mountains, like I run out of air. Could it just be an anxiety thing?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I can understand. You have not mentioned your age and any other medical problems you may have. If you do not have any medical problems and if you are healthy then the breathlessness could be due to anxiety disorder. Anxiety is known to produce many weird symptoms which medical science cannot explain. Most of those symptoms goes away if you ignore and become severe if you obsess. I think your problem is the second one. Obsession with your breathless experience. Try ignoring continuously for a week and it will be gone. Take care.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
