Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath When Doing Nothing

Shortness of breath. Have to really take deep inhalations to get my breath. At one time I was told it was due to low iron but my iron is in range. It s just annoying it doesn t bother me when I run or workout. It s more when I m Doing nothing that it affects me :(

I share your concerns. You need to under go detailed blood work up (Haemoglobin, infections, electrolyte), thyroid profile (hypothyroidism) and blood pressure check up. This will help in basic assessment of your health, which is essential to come to a diagnosis and treatment.

Since you don't have breathing difficulties during walking or working, there is possibility of depression in your case. If your basic investigations and assessment is normal, you need to visit a psychologist and psychiatrist. (Don't delay, there is high possibility of depression with your symptoms. )
