Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath While Having Sarcoidosis

I was recently diagnosed with sarcoidosis which makes me really short of breathe. I m currently taking 40mgs Prednisone daily. It helps a little but I still get short of breathe with little effort - eg climbing one flight of stairs is really tough. Are there any non steroid meds that are effective in treating sarcoidosis? I am a 66 yr old female who had no medical issues prior to this. Thanks.

Hi,

Please get a Ct chest done soon as sarcoidosis effects the lungs it the form of hilar lymph nodes also the tissue directly and this needs treatment.
