Hi I am 33 years old for past 5 days i have shortness of breath. i can breath normal but then maybe in every 3 - 4 times of breathing i need to take a very deep breath. I have go and check in the hospital. The doctor say i diagnose of pleurisy (after take urine test, chest scan and heart check) I this difficulties during i want to take meal.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Shortness of breath is encountered in respiratory or cardiac ailments. Pleurisy refers to inflammation of pleura. Inflammation of pleura can occur as a result of various infections and inflammations. Pneumonoi is a common cause of pleurisy. You need to consult your physician for management of pleurisy. In case pleurisy is occurring secondary to infection, appropriate antibiotic need to be taken. Shortness of breath and chest pain will persist till the infection persists.
