Suggest Treatment For Sickness And Vomiting For A 4-year-old Kid

today while at the park my nephew, who is only 4 years old, started feeling sick. he stood by the car and threw up. then he walked across the parking lot to get into my car and he went limp and fell to the ground. his face turned blue and he wasn t breathing. i had to give him mouth to mouth and he finally came to a little at a time. the ambulance came and the emts checked him out and said he just got dehydrated but it doesnt sound like dehydration to me. did my newphew just pass out or did he die for a couple minutes and what could have caused this to happen?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There are many medical conditions related to the symptoms of your nephew. I suggest to do a complete blood count, a glycemic level and a consult with an alergologist to exclude asthma.

The treatment depends on the diagnosis. After the examinations you can consult me again for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
