Suggest Treatment For Side Effects Of Allopurinol
My son just started taking allopurinol to lower uric acid and is having nausea in the mornings and loose stool also in the morning His doctor says it s common side effect & to keep taking it . What can he take for this he is already taking ginger & turmeric tablets .

As per my clinical experience, the GI upset with diarrhea is common side effect of Allopurinol. Intake of proton pump inhibitor as Omeprazole with sips of water on empty stomach, pre and probiotics with lactobacillus content
