Suggest Treatment For Side Effects Of Hydroxychloroquine
I have been on hydroxychloroquine 200mg long term. Recent labs came back low platelets, bone loss, labs were reading unusual results. I also have had my thyroid removed due to precancerous thyroid. Symptoms I have had have been hair loss, dull pain in left side below rib cage and back just over hip cradle. I take my thyroid meds at 6am on rising and upon taking them I have a rapid rise in body temperature. Looking at the side effects of hydroxychloroquine could these symptoms I am having be related to this medication? If so, can I stop the medication or do I have to stop it gradually?
