Suggest Treatment For Side Effects Of Pneumovax 23
I am two days into severe action to pneumovax injection. Severe swelling and knoting moving down arm with pain. High Fevor first day, low95.6 today. What should I do....berry red swelling. Was extremely weak.ben Belfast since 4 hours after shot. My age is 70 yrs.
I do understand your pain and discomfort. As per your history the most common side effects are:
a) Injection-site pain/soreness/tenderness, b) Injection-site swelling/induration, headache, c) Injection-site erythema, asthenia and fatigue, and myalgia.
All these symptoms will go away on its own as temp is not so high so do not take any medications.
I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me. Wishing you all the best.
Thanks, Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
