Suggest Treatment For Sinus Congestion And Chest Tightness While Having Asthma
I have history of asthma. I ha e had sinus congestion this week. Just using benadryl which helps. Yesterday I was sob with exertion alleviated with rescue I.healer. No wheezing just chest tightness. Congestion better but was outside in wind and ran to watch as something that flew away and sin e sob, chest tightness, no wheezing. I hAve done 2 nebulizer treatments in last 4 hours while c h helped temporally. I do have prednisone tabs and schedule on hand to take. Suggestions other than. ER.

You will have bronchoconstriction leading dyspnea and chest tightness...
Your Auscultation should be done along with CBC and spirometry
According to severity decision taken whether to start steroid orally or inhalation form is sufficient
If bronchoconstriction present than nebulization by salbutamol respule and budesonide respule can be given two times a day until peak flow improves
Decongestant like benadryl beneficial in relieving congestion

Consult pulmonologoist for examination with keeping all this in mind and follow his advise with regular follow up
