Suggest Treatment For Sinus Headache And Dryness In The Mouth
I breath through my mouth when I lay down at night. It is mostly on my right side. Sometimes I have dry mouth. Most nights my nose whistles. Some days my nose whistles. I have sinus headaches. When I have a headache, it hurts on at the bottom right side of my head and behind my right ear. I snore. It is worse when I lay on my back at night. Sometimes I have a cough and fill sinus drainage running down my throat.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sinus headache and dryness in the mouth, well the symptoms you mention in query pointing towards severe sinus infection. Need not to worry. You should chew sugar free candies to stimulate salivary secretions. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis without any delay to prevent the further complication. Doctor may order CT scan x-ray and nasal endoscopy . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin or penicillin at least for 10 days along with decongestant and expectorant . For now take steam thrice a day to relieve the congestion and apply warm compresses on face and take anti allergic like benadryl.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
