Suggest Treatment For Sinus Infection And Inability To Open Right Eye

Hello My 17 year old daughter was dx with a sinus infection. This has lasted for almost 2 weeks. During the timeframe she complained that she couldn t keep her right open, felt numb, and complained that it hurt. Today she is feeling better but still says at times it is hard to keep the right eye open. We have been to our family doctor. Today she had her annual exam, the eye doctor informed that her vision has changed drastically since last year. Could these changes be due to the sinus infection (nerves effected)? Thanks in advance

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, welcome to HCM. Sinusitis are not related to nerve which helps in eye vision. Both are different. Please take her to opthalmologist and get her eye checked for power. If she doesnot use proper spectacles then she will be straining her eyes which may lead to other complications. Regarding Sinusitis, it will take around 5 days to have an effect on the symptoms. If not please show her to ENT specialist for siniusitis. Take care.
