Suggest Treatment For Sinusitis, Pain In The Breasts And Heaviness In The Chest

I am 36 years old and I have sinusitis. I have a heaviness in my chest, hard to breathe and a stabbing pain under my left breast. I wanted to get help here first because I m just scared the ER will say it s my sinusitis and I m wasting my time there if that s what it could be. Any suggestions?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Allergic sinus associated with secondary bacterial infection &bronchitis would cause you the trouble. Anti-allergic medicines with needful antibiotic &bronchodilators like deriphyllin would help.

An allergy screening test, blood counts, x-ray chest (if indicated) would pinpoint the cause followed by specific treatment by an allergy specialist chest physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
