Frequent attacks of cold is commonly seen in patients with sinusitis. This is due to frequent infections with bacteria in such people. In this situation, your mother should take:
a) Tab. Amoxcillin 500mg twice daily for 10 days. b) Tab. B-complex one daily for 10 days. c) Tab cetrizine twice daily (only if symptoms of cold are there)
This regimen will help to subside the cold attack. It is advisable to avoid cold climate, cold water, exposure to dust. If symptoms persist radiological evaluation ( x-rays, CT scan) may be required. so try to visit physician if symptoms persist.
Hope your mother fast recovery. Thank you.
