Suggest Treatment For Skin Allergy Due To Spider Bite
Hello, Doctor, I am at a loss... I am from the UK and have lived in Cambodia 3yrs....I recently spent 3 months in the USA. What seemed to look like a spider bite turned quite nasty, I now have sores all over my legs, not on trunk or arms, Doctors in Cambodia are not that qualified, but I was told on my return it was impetigo. I have prior to this tried everything...as someone told me it was ringworm, then another said scabies, but I do not have legions where scabies usualy show up, however I did at the time do the cream for scabies only to get a toxic reaction and make things worse.. I am immune comprimised due to 2 types of blood cancer, I have tried everything mentioned on the net. The spores now seem to be less weeping, but have server scaring and still some itching.. I have treated. with 1st topical antibiotic, but this just made it spread.. I have been washing in antibacterial soap, viniger diluted washes and applying neem oil.. recently in the last days I have been taking a probiotic and treating and bandaging at night with antibiotic cream Gentamicin. It seems to be working, but now left with purple scaring... Please help I have no insurance here and just a volunter to help others so no money for more medication I Thank You and God Bless... I entered my email wrong.. YYYY@YYYY ... I also notice I have to pay by credit card and in Cambodia we do not have. So sorry for wasting your time.. Kind Regards.. Siri Atma...
The most important thing is to watch for signs of infection such as pus secretion fever or swelling of extremity and in this case, you should see a doctor who will probably prescribe antibiotics.
Otherwise, you need some kind of antihistaminic ointment
Also, Apply an ice pack to a bite or sting for 15 to 20 minutes once an hour for the first 6 hours.

Otherwise, you need some kind of antihistaminic ointment Also, Apply an ice pack to a bite or sting for 15 to 20 minutes once an hour for the first 6 hours. Try a nonprescription medicine for the relief of itching, redness, and swelling such as Benadryl or Chlor-Trimeton. Hydrocortisone 1% cream or calamine lotion may also be helpful. it is important not to scratch or manipulate the wound to prevent infection. You may cover the wound with a thin layer of petroleum jelly, such as Vaseline, and a nonstick bandage. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
