Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve been suffering from skipped heart beats for 8 years, in those years I smoked pot everyday multiple times a day and always seamed to get palpitations right after I smoked. For the last 6 months I ve been trying to quit and it s been really hard. Lately I ve been haveing palpitations for hours at a time when I m not smoking, I feel shaky and my anxiety as gone through the roof. I have them everyday multiple times through out the day and they leave me speechless. I ve had all tests done about 8 years ago and my cardiologist said that my heart is fine and I can exercise all I want. Should I go back to get retested or will my results be most lively the same? Would you recommend getting an ablation to fix my palpitations? It s really affecting my life. Could anxitey be the main cause for all of this and what meds would clear them from my body? Thank you, George
