Suggest Treatment For Sleep Walking

I think I have started sleep walking... As far as I know I have never done this until recently but I am really worried. I am on Cipralex and recently stopped taking Yazmin. I have put on alot of weight over the past year (went from 180 lbs to 240lbs- at 5'7")

Psychiatrist 's  Response
hello user , thanks for contacting health care magic for your health related query . i understand your concern. you have however not elaborated that why do you feel that you are sleepwalking - have anyone witnessed so ? or its that you are not having a refreshening sleep - since you are taking escitalopram , i presume some ongoing or past psychological distress associated , also if you are having weight issues and hormonal disturbances. cumulatively all these factors can independently and/or jointly can result in sleep related disorders. you should consult a psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and management - also you should practice "sleep hygeine" measures , which you will easily find on internet search . Take care
