Suggest Treatment For Sleeping Disorder And Depression

Hey Dr. Rynne, I am new to the forum. I am 25 years old and notice that I feel different over the past 4 years. I was on gh has a child for delayed growth and since then was in a car accident and have multiple herniated discs. I have never healed. I also have more trouble sleeping and some depression. I am in great shape and only do safe exercises. I was wondering if I still need HGH and if it would have helped my mood, sleep and recovery. I know I was not producing hgh upon starting treatment and was on treatment from 2004 to 2007. I did grow nearly a foot in height. But if I had no high secretion then , would it be worth to see if I should have continued treatment or need treatment ? I had none of these symptoms while on treatment. Also I want to know if the hgh would help my disc injuries which haven t healed over the years.mmimam currently just on NSAIDs and gabapentin. I m not on any meds that can reduce hormone levels to the best of my knowledge. I m general should I see an endocrinologist since I was on it ? You can email me listed below or call at 516-426-0653. Thank you for your time

YOU ARE SUFFERING FROM CLINICAL DEPRESSION OF MODERATE SEVERITY. THE SLEEP IMPAIRMENT ALSO IS A PART OF DEPRESSIVE SYMPTOMATOLOGY. DO YOUR MULTIPLE HERNIATED DISCS CAUSE A LOT OF PAIN? THIS IS BECAUSE CHRONIC UNHEALED PAIN SYNDROMES ARE CONTRIBUTING FACTORS FOR DEPRESSION.

SINCE YOU ARE 25 YEARS OLD YOUR EPIPHYSYS WOULD HAVE ALREADY FUSED. SO GH WILL NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I HAVE THE FOLLOWING SUGGESTIONS FOR YOU-
1. KINDLY SEE A SPINE SURGEON FOR DISC PROBLEM
2. PAIN MANAGEMENT IS VERY IMPORTANT. IT IS NOT ADVISABLE TO TAKE NSAIDS ON LONG-TERM BASIS. KINDLY MEET AN OSTEOPATHIC SURGEON FOR THE SAME
3. FOR DEPRESSION YOU CAN TAKE FLOUXETINE 20 MG P/O IN THE MORNING EVERY DAY. U WILL SEE IMPROVEMENT IN 2-4 WEEKS TIME. FOLLOW UP WITH A PSYCHIATRIST.
