Suggest Treatment For Slight Pain In Right Arm And Constant Nausea
I am a 32 year old female. I have been experiencing slight pain in my right arm like a pinched nerve as well as nausea and I ve been a bit lightheaded (might be caused by tiredness) for about 10 minutes. My doctor said that previous pain in my chest area was due to reflux and that I should change my diet as well as quit smoking. I took an anti nausea medication about 5 minutes ago. I do not have any pain in my chest at this time nor do i feel any tightness. As long as I am sitting down I no longer feel nauseated either. Should I go the the ER or just take an antacid?
In my opinion, you should definitely take antacid and wait for atleast 2-3 hours. Your symptoms are mostly due to acid reflux.
Your symptoms will definitely subside. If your symptoms are not subsiding after 2-3 hours, go to emergency room for ecg and Upper GI (gastrointestinal) scopy.
Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar
