Suggest Treatment For Slurred Speech

I have started to develop a slight shake the affect my speach a little bit in the last couple of days..I will make and appointment with a neurologist but Im wondering if I should wait a couple of days inase it is a pinch nerve or a spasm...51yr male.

Hello,

Slurred speech is concerning at your age. I would suggest visiting a neurologist or urgent care sooner rather than later to ensure that you are not experiencing a stroke or a minor version of that known as Transient Ischemic Attack. I don't mean to scare you, but it is better to be safe than sorry, especially since I haven't had the opportunity to examine you in person.
