Suggest Treatment For Slurring Of Speech And Headaches
Hi there I am in excellent health. I take no medications. I am 52 I had a weird experience Monday where I was suddenly very hot (I am perimenopausal) and started slurring my words then had a bad headache. I was fine for a couple of days, and did it very slightly (much less) for a few minutes today.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
The symptoms you have might come from severe head ache of migraine or transient stroke (When accompanied by high blood pressure / diabetes). In case you have similar symptoms again, you need a through medical check up for pin pointing the cause followed by specific medication. A good control of diabetes / blood pressure should start relieving symptoms, prevent progress of the problem. To be psychologically positive & avoiding physical & mental stress would be helpful. Please consult a physician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
