Suggest Treatment For Small Bald Spot Near The Front Of The Hairline

Hi I have noticed a really small bald spot right at the front of my hairline for the first time. Is it because I slick my hair back tight 3 times a week? Or could it be another cause? Is this a sign of alopecia? My hairdresser doesn t think its a problem but I ve never seen it before....considering I ve always had lots of hair and still do....I am a 44 year old female

Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like hormonal changes , genetic factors and side effects of some medicines and fungal infection . It is very important to find out the reasons behind the hair loss . I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis . Doctor will take history , examine physically and take scalp sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe anti fungal like fluconzole , Finpecia and minoxidil spray . Doctor may also recommend hair transplant with latest HUE technique .
