Suggest Treatment For Small Blood Blisters On The Foot

Hi, I went for a long hike a couple weeks ago and got blood blisters on the bottom of each heal about the size of nickel. These hurt a bit at first, but have not given me discomfort since, except for not disappearing. Should I wait longer for this to heal naturally, or must the skin be cut into?

I have gone through details provided by you.

What you had was hematoma or a collection of blood due to intense sustained pressure on the area.

Our bodies eat away the blood components ina very systematic way which may take a long time especially if the collection of such blood components is voluminous.

Even if you do not take any measures, eventually this will disappear. None of my patients with exactly similar problem had to go for any intervention. It is only sometimes that I prescribe Hirudoid like creams to them which pave the way for faster clearing.

I would suggest that you just wait and let the nature take care of the roblem. Best of everything to you.
