Suggest Treatment For Small Bumps On The Face And Thighs Of A Child

My 2 year old daughter is getting these random bumps on her face, thighs and arms. They are small skin-colored bumps. We have looked her over and we dont think that she s getting bit by anything and we havent introduced anything new into her diet. Thoughts?

Hello,

I understood your concern. It is difficult to assess the nature of the condition with the description. I would like to know if the bumps are itchy, are they only on exposed areas, what is the duration of the lesion, are the bumps increasing in size or disappearing in a while ?
Molluscum contagiosum would be my first probable diagnosis, given it is involving the face and you have confidently ruled out insect bite. Other possibilities could be lichen nitidus (which will follow a linear pattern at some sites) or milia or sweat retention.
Have her looked over by a dermatologist or send a picture for better opinion. Rest assured none of these conditions are serious.
I hope I was able to address your query
