Hi my name is moon.I had a bilateral mastectomy and lymph node removal on my left side. I recently have a small cut on my left hand and I m not sure if I need to call my doctor regarding this. I am NOT running a fever, but the cut is a little red around the edges. I have been keeping it clean putting Neosporin on it and a bandage. Do I have to contact my doctor every time I caught my left hand?
I feel that most probably you may have developed fissure on thick skin of fingers. It may be due to dryness of skin. Avoid contact with soap. Apply fucidic acid cream. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.
Hope this helps.
