Suggest Treatment For Sneezing And Throat Pain

hi today when i woke up i felt a very little pain in my throat. and the pain increased as it is night now. when i sneeze it is like that someone cuts my throat with a knife. swallowig is painful too. the pain after sneezing is horrible please help me

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sneezing and throat pain means you are suffering from condition known as sinus infection or sinusitis. The symptoms can also occur due to allergic rhinitis . I would suggest you to take nasal decongestant sprays, Antihistamines and antibiotic combination as infection is present. You should take throat lozenges to relieve pain. You should take plenty of liquids. Maintain proper oral hygiene. Co amoxiclav is best treatment option. You should take steam inhalation. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Go for paranasal sinus X ray and get puncture and drainage of sinus if required. You can go for surgical reconstruction of opening after proper prescription. Do warm saline gargles and take over the counter antihistamine like benadryl .
