Suggest Treatment For Sore Spots On Lower Buttocks

I am terribly sore right between the butt cheeks (where they meet) right below the tail bone. I clean it three times a day and used bacitracin and sometimes Neosporin. Because there is no air coming onto the sore spot , it doesn t heal. What else can I do? It is very sore and even just spraying with water in the shower hurts.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to pilonidal cyst. A physical examination by an general surgeon will be helpful to rule out the condition. Antibiotic therapy alone is usually not helpful for this. Surgical treatment will be needed to cure this. Incision and drainage or marsupialization is the procedure done for this. These are done under local anesthesia and as an out patient procedure.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
