Yes I was stuck with a needle in the leg through a bag of trash at the park about a year ago.Now I am having sore throat for two weeks, white mucus in back of throat, diarrhea, and joint pain in legs.Is there a chance of hiv or something else. Went to emergency clinic and they told me to take overthecounter meds and not helping.I am about 6 3 240 and very physically active but lately been feeling weak.
You may take inj TT for needle injury. Present complaints may be due to viral flu with pharyngitis with diarrhoea. Use sporulac sachets for three days. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625mg for five days. Drink plenty of water. Do salt water gargling thrice a day. If symptoms have not improved, please consult with your ENT specialist/physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
