As per your query you have symptoms of sore throat and discomfort in ear which seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection travelling to ears and leading to eustachian tube dysfunction. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles. Apply warm compresses on ear. Take proper course of antibiotics. Avoid oily and sharp food. Drink plenty of fluids. Apply mist humidifiers in room. Avoid cold carbonated beverages. You should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get paranasal sinus X-ray done along with throat swab test and blood tests and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Hope your concern has been resolved.
