Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Ear Infection With Pink Cheeks
I have a 13 month old little boy who weight is 19 lbs. He has been to the dr and has a sore throat and ear infection, and a fever. He was given amoxicillin twice a day and motrin and acetaminophen alternating every 4 hours until his fever goes avay. That was Tuesday and he doesn t seem to be feeling any better. His cheeks are pink and this forearms are too but only to his elbows no blisters. I don t know if they tested him for strep I am the grandma.

He may be suffering from viral fever with pharyngitis with a rash.
Other possibilities like allergy or measles or mums etc.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Get a sputum examination and culture sensitivity. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. apply lactocalamine lotion all over the body.
It is better to use paracetamol. Use decongestants.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
