Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Sounds like you have been suffering from chronic sinusitis, this will result in inflammation of throat and the tissues around it. The ear blockage and pain you are experiencing is also a outcome to the disease progression.

I suggest you to start on a course of anti inflammatory medication both orally and topically ie- the nose. If it is a long standing issue it is always better to get a scan to know the extent of the disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Rachana Gaddipati
