Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Hoarse Voice

Hi there, I m an actor/ singer who s suddenly aquired a rather temperamental, often hoarse, voice. It has a crackly quality if I use/ go into my lower range when speaking and I m tending to lose my voice often when speaking. My question is whether this sounds like nodules? Also can nodules be caused by being violently sick? This all started after I was sick - 3 weeks ago - and cleared my throat and spat out a fair amount of blood. I had a sore throat afterwards that has only just started to clear up and I initially sang a bit which seemed to exacerbate the soreness. I m due to go on a presenting tour in 10 days and I m concerned about what affect consistent speaking/ projecting will have on my voice, in the long run. Thanks in adance, Louise

The symptoms semester to be related to a sore throat and laryngitis.

I suggest to use anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day.

I also suggest to use a throat spray for local application.
