Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Weakness
Hi, I was wondering could you give me some advice please. I am an air hostess and from Sunday I have had a really sore throat badly swollen glands achy bones and feeling weak - just like a flu. I am going to make an appointment with my doctor tomorrow but just curious to know is it dangerous for me to fly with the glands swollen as I could be flying on thurs? Thanks

You are having acute viral infection of posterior pharynx. Your infection seems to be little bit severe as glands also swollen. So it's advisable to investigate with serum antistreptolysin O titre and complete blood count report.
You can be prescribed short term steroid course for symptomatic relief. It's advisable to take rest during your flu infection to recover fast.
