Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Cough And Pressure In Ear

I have a sore throat, some pain on my face near nose, ears are hurting (pressure) and post nasal drip. No fever. Also a little cough, I think from the nasal drip. I am thinking maybe sinus infection??? I has been using a cpap for about 3 weeks, but I do clean it regularly.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It shows acute upper respiratory tract infection and may or may not be related to CPAP. In any case sinuses symptoms haven't seen to have appeared yet, and it's better to use anti histamines like cetirizine or loratidine as well as OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen. Antibiotics may be needed if the symptoms persist or accompanied with high grade fever.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
