Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Coughing Up Of Green Mucus And Chest Tightness

Hi. For the last 2 weeks I have awaken with a sore throat and coughing up green mucus, In the last 3 days the green is gone but I m still coughing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, projectile vomiting of clear mucus. Ive tried allergy medication, nighttime cold medicine, cough suppressant (which seems to be doing the opposite). My doctor has been out of the office. Is this viral and going to pass soon, or should i seek medical attention elsewhere? Thanks, Jessica

take clarythromycin 500 twice a day for 7 days and mucolytics (fluimucil, acetylcysteine) twice a day. stop or reduce smoking. stop cough suppressants. I suggest to take a chest xray if cough persists.
