Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Ear Pain And Fever

Hi I am fourteen years old. My throat is sore, my sinuses are filled with mucus, and my ears hurt from time to time. I also feel feverish and I sometimes have a head ache. What do I have and what do I do? I have a lot of tests and work to do tomorrow, so I need to not be cured but at least feel well enough to go to school.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to a respiratory infection.
I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms.
I also suggest using a mucolytic to help with the phlegm.I recommend to drink liquids and rest.
If the symptoms continue, antibiotics may be needed.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
