Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Nasal Congestion And Trachea Pain
I have been sick with a sore throat and nasal congestion. Tonight, I took a close line arm/and a grab to the neck/trachea. My trachea is killing me now and I can barely swallow without being in pain. No external bruising...all to the throat and internal. What is the best way to treat this?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore throat, nasal congestion and trachea pain which is because of severe upper respiratory tract infection. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles three times daily. If you feel pain and discomfort is severe and not getting relieved with painkiller then you should consult ENT specialist once and get it examined. Doctor may order blood tests and x-ray paranasal sinuses and start treatment accordingly. Doctor may prescribe a proper course of antibiotics along with antiinflammatory medications. Drink lukewarm water on daily basis. Taking decongestant nasal spray can also be relieving along with steam inhalation.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
